| Re: EL GUAPO The Handsome FJ Cruiser Got a good deal on some RC4WD dual spring shocks. I love how these shocks look. Much more scale than the fat stock scx10 shocks. I thought the stockers were around 90mm, and I've limited them at least 10mm, so I figured the 80mm shocks would be perfect. Well turns out they are about 10mm too short, so now I'm on the hunt for some 90's. |

| Re: EL GUAPO The Handsome FJ Cruiser Sorry about the video trouble. YouTube said they didn't have permission to give me the right to use that song. But Photobucket didn't seem to care. Photobucket isn't HD, but at least it works now |

Looking great man, love the FJ! If I ever get my hands on another FJ body I am definately going to build it like that with the class 1 look. Maybe even start with a CC01 base to have the IFS. I love how clean, shiny and unscratched your body is too! I love abusing mine, but I loved how it looked before getting all scratched! Are you planning on making an interior for that thing? What about the mirrors. Did you just not install them, or don't have them? |

i bet the newbright JK interior would work with some tweaks. what you need though is clear windows, which isn't easy. find someone who can vacuum form lexan over your tinted windows haha. The jK interior would be heavy though for an already top-heavy-ish rig. maybe wraith interior? dingo interior?

I do have a NB Jeep stashed away upstairs and I did consider pulling the interior just to see but like you said the body is already so top heavy and I am finally getting happy with the performance of this thing I'd hate to take yet another step backwards. I looked at putting my dinky RC honcho interior in the FJ too though, and besides it being too wide (easily modified) it just doesn't look close enough to the real thing to go through the hassle, at least to me. Always another option though. EDIT: Searching around a bit after posting this I stumbled on this. click here Might not be too bad of a starting point, if you are looking to do an interior. A cheap way to make your windows and once cut up usually works ok is the plastic from a soft drink bottle or juice bottle. Is easy to get and just cut squares out for windows and shoe goo or silicon in place. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2 |
