Looking for smaller axles for a new project!

Recently, I got my hands on a tamiya King Cab body and since I owned one real Nissan (not 4x4 but who cares), I would like to do a class 1 build with it and i'm wondering which axles to take. The axial axles are to wide to my taste, the rig will be on 1.55...didnt decided if it would be pitbulls or MTZ tires... It will actually be my first 1.55 class 1 build and I wanna do it slow but good! you guys have any ideas on which axles I could use? I already have an axial frame, that should still do the job...

Thanks alot!

Losi MRC or TLT axles?

The RC4WD T Rex 40s or 60s are very scale looking and more narrow than the SCX10 axles. They're completely upgradable too. I do suggest using the optional alloy housings.

What do you think about the yota axles ?

SDI axles are adjustable for size width. T Rex 60's are only slightly narrower than SCX axle but the T Rex 44 might be a good choice or the MRC.

Im curious about the SDi axles because they look super adjustable but just dont like all that hardware =/

TLTs or narrowed TLTs. They are really easy to narrow!
Sticky'd at the top of the 1.9 section.

dont be scared of the yota axles. they are FAR better than plastic t-rex 60's in looks, performance, and reliability.

K-44 axles are a hair narrower than yota axles and look better and perform better but are much pricier.

narrower than k-44's you'd be looking at MRC or narrowed TLT's

I concur, the 'yota axles are pretty stout if shimmed and maintained. XVD's are recommended and replace the drive pin with an Axial dogbone pin for longer life.

So what body are you going with? For me, that would be one of the main deciding factor of what axles to run.

Oh, and yeah, the MRC axles work well too and are stronger than most would think if shimmed.

the og stadium truck? Yota axles might be too wide. How wide is the body? Mrc axles fit the blackfoot and parmas 57 chevy pickup with tires completely covered. i think those are right around 7- 7.25".

yup..the old stadium truck...actually might be a pain to build....might have to go with the MRC yes...will have to make a custom frame and everything...it's pretty narrow...I might actually go with a CC01!
