I usually look at things with my eyes closed. That's why my builds look like this. :ror: Thanks!

This might be turning into a tribute thread since the big one is pending sale. I went out and took a picture of the the two while I still could.

Attempt at an interior. I might add it's a poor one.

I'll never be ready for another one. This is the 4Runner to end all 4Runners. Thanks.

The FJ was getting jealous. :ror:

Sold the junk yesterday. I'll only have the oil stains it left in the driveway to remember it by. Oh and this little guy of course.

I got the exhaust done last night. I tried to replicate the jankiness of the real exhaust. The muffler was my foray into soldering tin.

Thanks. TF2 is a great start, but you can always make it better.

AWESOME, but with this much attention to detail, why not a six lug wheel?

Yeah, I swapped in a Dana 35 rear.

Calderwood 06-16-2013 03:47 PM

I love this thing. Really amazing work. I hope a little constructive criticism is ok. Every '84+ conversion I have seen including this one all still have the front of the hood drop down like the '83- trucks. The '84+ top corners of the hood stay straight instead.

I love the stance btw. It reminds me of the 1:1 '84 that I had before I got my '95 4Runner.

I would scrap the dana and do a Grand Cherokee IFS conversion... that's what I'd do.

If I were you wanting to be me, I (you) would add a rear mounted gas tank to promote fires in rear end collisions. That is, if you (me) were I and you were you.

Whole lot of ugly going on in this region.
