No - dont have a problem with them really - just looks a little odd to me in a truck - i think it is more that they were unexpected - but hey, if it works for ya...

I built some items to bounce around in the truck. Snow brush, cardboard for the oil leak and a parking brake.

Then I hit the trails. All the recent rain made some awesome washouts. The truck is sort of capable and slow. My favorite combination. I am very happy with this toy truck and I foresee many hours of fun both at home and abroad.

yer builds are so awesome...

Yer video looks purdy scale when going at a crawl...

But at around 4:20 it gets hopping a little bit at speed...
and the rear suspension looks kinda stiff.

Yeah I realize there is only so much that can be done
when it comes to leaf spring builds...

But maybe shock valving could change that somewhat ?

wish I had your skillz...
Think I'll pick up one of those TF2 bodies and give it a shot.
Just won a Dingo kit at a G6 raffle...
Would love to convert that into a styrene 'yota...

But sure wish someone offered a styrene Tacoma body
bummer that I have no modeling skillz to scratch build that.

excellent work... as always

Where do I begin? First of all, thanks for liking my toy truck. Second, have you ever driven a 4Runner with blown out shocks and leaf springs? It drives just like that. Probably worse. C, Get some styrene and build a Tacoma body. You won't get anywhere if you don't try.

Part II - The Stunt Double

I'm going to stick this body on the 4Runner chassis and run it in C1 at the RC4WD comp in August.

imthatguy stole all the T's

And when I get the time for it I'll build up this Speedweigand camper for it.

I like my 4runner better because it's gray and black....but yours is kinda cool I guess. Maybe our 4Runners can get together at the rc4wd scale comp and do big things out on the trails...you know like pulling stuck Jerps out or something cool...that's only we combined both trucks efforts because the 22res just aren't to powerful. I think we can get it done though.
