the Jeep is looking good. K44s are the perfect axles for a JK.

one question though... right-hand drive?

Thanks. I'm not sure I understand your question but, I think this should answer it.. It's currently left-hand drive and I have no plans to make it right-hand drive.

He is referring to the direction of the panhard and steering link.
I did them right hand drive as the D90 body is right hand drive and it is British like me

I see what he's saying. Rick, how in the world is your steering wheel supposed to hit the linkage when the steering column is on the opposite side of the truck from the steering box??? Dude, you need to think this through! Haha.

I'm an idiot!! I guess I'll have to either flip that stuff over to the other side (should be pretty easy) or modify the dash to be RHD (also not that hard I would imagine)

Thanks for clearing that up for me guys.

Great minds think alike...I have the 1.7 iroks on the same body....I bought a red one and a yellow one I like them so much....plus paranoia that they migh disappear one day....RCC thing I guess.

I also have the 1.5 Goldie gear heads....and have the growlers in my cart. I want to see that combo on this body. With the fenders on like mine I feel the aggressive iroks aren't a good fit for the right look. But your cruising a different direction.

I'm also very interested to see what you do for the fenders.

Well, I took the "easy" route and went with poison spyder flares.

Nice & solid.

I drilled holes into the interior in the rear to fit my tool in there ;)

I raised the fenders a touch and added some rake to the front ones to make it look more aggressive.

I like it. I hate that bright color red though.. Can't wait to change that.

I'm mounting growlers to my 1.55 UTE's as we speak.

I made a discovery that really makes me happy & even more stoked about this build. My gearhead UTE's can be reversed giving me more width and a cool deep dish look. The wheels look mean and they help "make" this truck. I'll for sure be running the UTE/Growler setup.

here's the back of the wheel.

here's the front.

they give me quite a bit more width, which I needed with the K44's and it's still C1 legal.

is that shit MEAN or what?!

I'm excited.. That extra bit of width in combination with that wheel/tire combo really sets it off IMO.. STANCED! Just wait and see!.. and I am now willing to spend the extra money and deck them out with the scale hardware. I can't wait to ditch the red. ;)

edit: oh yes.. I got me some gangster LockedUp scale hardware on the way!

The MCZ finish hardware is gonna look great on there with the black wheels.

As always ... I look forward to seeing pics!

Thing looks really good. Have you concidered using a panhead bar to center up that front axle?

It has a panhard bar. What you're seeing is two different wheel/tire setups on either side of the truck to show the difference in wheel offset from the temporary setup I was running to the new setup.

Yeah.. Good thing you ship fast cause I can't wait!

Here's a few more pictures. I got the wheels/tires mounted.. It'll be nice & easy to swap over to the LockedUp scale hardware when it arrives. I'm diggin' it.

I have 2.25oz of weight in the rear wheels and 3.5oz of weight in the fronts. Should help keep this thing planted.

I also switched from the Hammer t-case to the Titan t-case for a little more BEEF!

oh ok... Now I get it.

I really like the rims look with the deep dish / wider stance. Something simple and different.

I like the whole concept of this build, that body is almost MADE for the TFII chassis. I think the D44's are a great choice for the Jeep as well. I'm personally not feeling the extra wide stance, but that's just me.

A very nice build sir. Glad to see someone took the plunge and put K44's on a G2 chassis. I love my G2. Maybe even more than my linked TF2.

I'm a little sad to see you're not going with the IROK's. At ECSC, it was either IROK's or Pitbulls for C2. C1 was a bit of a mixed bag. I had Growlers all set for my C1, but just didn't think there was a deep enough tread to do any good on the loamy/rocky terrain.
