This is going to be my new C1 rig until next year....mini cooper hardtop
the one in the left is my old mini cooper, but it became to my C3 now.







anyway...let's see what we got here....

well, start with the body mount, this body just perfectly fit with axial scx10 chassis. so I talked to Phillip(Scaleready) a few weeks ago and discussed some ideas.....etc, and here are what we got.

some mock-up pics....actually, I just took out the axle, links, shocks from my old mini cooper and make a new life



again, it is a simple slider...I want it simple and clean

those are big tube fender, I can even put 1.9 pitbull and looks not too bad...hahaha




well, this mini is about 80% done, and now need to work on interior cage, led light, and Winch mount

again, take my spare CS170 servo to make a servo winch
it is a 333oz servo with HeyOk HV controller should be really powerful
and I felt that the Maddog's winch spool is really nice, I got tons of winch line there

by the way, that is QS winch hook, but don't know if Neil(QUICKSAND) still have them for sale or not...didn't hear anything back from him

is that cooper tenth scale? are you rocking a 9.6" wheelbase??

I think it is 10th scale for sure.
the wheelbase is right at 12" now

Cooper wheelbase is about 97" so it must be a bigger scale... it looks awesome none the less.

it is a little bit bigger than 10th...the good thing is that I got 50% tires coverage...

just finished the 2 roll interior cage and did some art work...lol


looks nice with red color




got 2 drivers...the body is about 2.4lbs now :mad:




will need some LED lights on the body and winch mount soon:cool:

That Gremlin build was awesome, I just checked that thread...that body is very unique...have not seen one yet

alright...just done with the servo winch mount, that was not that easy.
every spots are just really tight!! hahaha...











also painted it black last night.




will need to put everything back tonight and get the LED light ready..
it is about 90% done now....
