Yes I do. Luckily, I bought a drop bed kit from N00b to slightly speed up the process. Do you think this Yota will ever get finished? |

I never understood why the bed and cab came out different shades of brown. I painted them at the same time with the same paint. Good to see my parts floating around, defiantly tuned in for this one

After a LONG time being down, the Toyota now has a new body (2014 Miss USA spec body) and a done up interior! Just need the final touches on it. It had a little shakedown run this afternoon and performed flawlessly and just like how I wanted it to. I would love to get it into a Class 1 comp. If only pictures could show how steep an angle is.. |

Man, that looks like nice terrain for toy trucks.

| Re: Lentsnh2012 builds: 1981 Toyota Pickup Thank you very much, sir! I can already see where I need to make improvements on the body. Cut the doors out and make tube doors; it doesn't look right without door panels. They're toy rocks. It seemed fitting. It would be nicer if the terrain was more settled, but it''l have to do. Just a fun little concept for people who don't want to make little hinges to make the hood totally functional. Glue some styrene strips to the body so that the hood sits how it was before you cut it out, then take a pair of Neodymium magnets and CA Glue them to the underside of those styrene "shelves". When that prep is done, cut a super thin band saw blade into equal lengths and CA Glue them on the underside of the hood, like so: Make sure to grind down the blade teeth to keep your fingers safe and for it to lay down all the way. You should have something like this that will handle the rougher bumps, but still easy to take off for battery changes or transmission/motor work. |

Are the cab and bed from different manufacturers? It doesn't look like they line up.

I'm guessing you learned that those tires suck. Everything else is looking nice and sleazy. Good job! My thumb is in the upright position. |
