And the plastic is nicer to work with in my opinion. I was thinking of doing the whole bed out of diamond plate but that's gonna be a pain to get the corners to line up properly.

This thing makes the inner redneck in me grin from ear to ear. That things killer! You ever thought about some killer 1.9 rims with some smaller tires on it? Haha. It looks awesome though. And that bed is sweet. I'm half tempted to try one myself! Subscribed! Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk |

Very small update but here it is. More work done on the side tool boxes, i would really like to make them with locking doors, i am just limited to very few tools since my builds are done in the kitchen of my apartment Still need shorter shocks in the front but looking good so far. Note to self, not compatible with 2.2 rigs haha |

I think the bumper looks pretty decent, but I think it needs a set of rear mud flaps to finish it off.

| Re: F-350 Family cab A.K.A Southern Charm Yea definitely, also it think the gap between the bumper and the chassis is too big so i gotta add some walls in there making the beaver tail look thicker than it actually is

| Re: F-350 Family cab A.K.A Southern Charm It's really not that bad if you think about it. Making your own crewcab will cost you around $100 without your labor. His are from fiberglass, much stronger, and primer. The goosenecks are 100% custom made to your liking and are the same price (depending on how much you add to it) as the RC4WD trailers lol

Lookin awesome! I agree though, mudflaps would set it off for sure though. Maybe even a faux ball receiver on the bumper?? regardless it's coming out awesome! Gotta pay the cost if you wanna be an rc boss. Lol

| Re: F-350 Family cab A.K.A Southern Charm Haha thanks and yes mudflaps will be included! and i didn't think about a hitch mount on the rear bumper but that's not a bad idea, i'll definitely take a stab at it

UPDATE TIME!!!! Not much to show but lets get started. First off i ditched my custom bumper and fitted the stock one back on. Adjusted the height and that's about how the big girl is gonna sit! Next up i cleaned up the lines on the bed and worked some more on the tool boxes. I'll add some detail later on but for now it's good enough for me. Stay tuned and thanks for the comments. |
