Started on the part of this project that has haunted since I started months ago,,,,,, the INTERIOR (that was said in that loud low voice). I just wasn't able to figure out what I was going to do. At one point I just stuck it all on the shelf. Every time I walked by, I would look at it and just drew a blank. Well today I said f$&k it and just started cutting. It all feel into to place I have to finished interior pictured in my head now. What a relief. Modified the console to fit. Patched a few holes in the rear seat. It worked out better then I planed. The seat will cover up the hatch area. That's where I plan on hiding the electronics. Cut down Barbies front seats. Used some plate to put them back together. I think once in place they'll blend in nicely. Bane is getting closer to having a Volvo wagon to tear around town in. I'm down to door panels now. Dinky RC panels may be the way I go. All the interior will be painted. I'll also put in some "carpet" It's closer than it was. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Looking good. What front bumper is that? I dont remember seeing a rc4wd one with the gussets. Would probably look awesome on the yota I'm gonna build. EDIT: Nvm looked it up and its the stubby. I never noticed the gussets before...weird. Last edited by fr8cture; 09-01-2014 at 11:13 PM. |

I thought it would look good on the wagon since it already had the molded bumpers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk | |

Got the interior painted. Started filling the hole in the roof. Since I decided to leave the body blue, I knew it would be tough to color match the patch panel. I decided to do a "cloth top" as part of the fill panel. It's getting closer to being finished. Still to do; Blackout under side of body Paint body trim Mount electronics Mount driver and passenger Add winch Add scale accessories Add lights Decide on what I'm doing for door panels And I'm sure in forgetting something Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Roof hole is done. Panels glued in. I like how the black top looks. It'll end up covered with a roof rack. Poser shots. Glad to see it coming together. I'll be glad to start on the final details. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Blacked out the inside of the body. Also painted all the trim as well as the rear hatch panels. Just a bit of touch up in the morning and painting will be done. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Worked out placement for the electronics. Using a servo box to help house everything. Put a top on the cargo area to help conceal everything. Took it out side to get some pics in natural light. Just need to install the electronics and it will be running. Waiting to decide on what I'm going to use. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
