Cruisin' the FJ with the FJ Cruiser Found an awesome deal on a super scale FJ on eBay. I instantly snatched it up when I saw it. http://i762.photobucket.com/albums/x...psbtse47if.jpg It has pretty good flex. It should do well on the trails. http://i762.photobucket.com/albums/x...psv4knolpy.jpg http://i762.photobucket.com/albums/x...psbv2idaol.jpg I test drove it around and it didn't perform near as well as the seller said it would. It broke in half when it saw a rock! Worthless. http://i762.photobucket.com/albums/x...ps2iyfzmg1.jpg I guess I'll fix it right this time... Stay tuned! |
Re: Cruisin' the FJ with the FJ Cruiser Let me guess....painting it black? :ror: following... |
Re: Cruisin' the FJ with the FJ Cruiser Whoa! That looks even more realistic than a real FJ Cruiser! Quote:

The limo-tint on the windshield is my favorite part. Luckily, if the real FJ breaks in half, you can fix it with water. It is only rice paper panelling after all. Toyota FTW. |

For your urges of Boogie Feva! http://i762.photobucket.com/albums/x...psydqx6drp.jpg It grew fangs, I mean teeth- We're getting them straightened out. http://i762.photobucket.com/albums/x...psvi97oe6p.jpg No, this isn't for the FJC, but rather for the silver TF2. http://i762.photobucket.com/albums/x...psmoprxsif.jpg |
Re: Cruisin' the FJ with the FJ Cruiser Whoops, the doors fell off! Now, everyone is going to get wind in their hair. http://i762.photobucket.com/albums/x...psqzoif4nw.jpg Don't stare too hard, you may notice the cheap box wheel wells. http://i762.photobucket.com/albums/x...psav7bfd1q.jpg Had to make one of those cooling things in the front to overheat the motor. Wait, that's wrong. http://i762.photobucket.com/albums/x...psiqfemmtd.jpg http://i762.photobucket.com/albums/x...pscqqrpurq.jpg |
Re: Cruisin' the FJ with the FJ Cruiser that cooling thingy looks familiar |

Re: Cruisin' the FJ with the FJ Cruiser No doors? What is this? Some kind of a Jeep? If that's the case, it's a Jeep thing and I wouldn't understand. Talk to me about that yota axle with the brass on the end. What's it all about? |

Re: Cruisin' the FJ with the FJ Cruiser Quote:
I wanted to keep the doors, but I kind of built myself into a corner and couldn't get to the interior. The Yota axle with the brass is a very special project that has only been done twice, both times by Chino63. Portal'ed Yota axles on a TF2! |

NO pictures until I'm done though, that's the only teaser picture. Since I have bumped my thread, I guess some more pictures are in order.... Right now, I'm on hold until USPS delivers a care package from Iman00b. Door sills and seats. Don't hurt your hip getting in. http://i762.photobucket.com/albums/x...psgbvo07yt.jpg http://i762.photobucket.com/albums/x...ps3v1kygzi.jpg I found these tube doors in one of my parts drawers. I made these about a year ago for the New Bright TJ that never was finished. Turns out that they fit perfectly! I may try to make them functional, but I'm not certain yet. http://i762.photobucket.com/albums/x...psyrarnor2.jpg http://i762.photobucket.com/albums/x...psyg1f3qsp.jpg |
