Default Szczerba's Montero

Bonards29 started this build back in 2009 on the Scale4x4 board. Mated two Pajero's flawlessly. Orginally built on Hilift axles but I got it with Ax10's. I have since swapped out to TLTs.

Some of his build pics.

This is how I got it.

Worked on some TLTs to swap.

Made this with Mattzilla tabs and some straight bar for the front.

Javne Racing Battery mount for now

Homemade CMS from a 2009 berg mount.

4-link a s CMS with minimal bump steer. Due to meticulous link length tweaking.

Love seeing these "old" builds still around. The Pajero was one of my first scale builds, I remember following his build thread on scale4x4 doesn't seem like it was 5 years ago.

Thanks. I am still debating whether or not to cut off the front/rear bumpers for steel ones. I think I am.

Made some simple sliders last night.
New 1.55 RC4WD wheels and tires too.

That last pic is killer Shane!

I was checking this one out too, glad you ended up with it instead of being lost in the depths of Scale4x4.

I somehow found it on Ebay last month and couldn't let it go.

That looks awesome, love those wheels and tires on it.

Did that bumper come in yet that you were telling me about?

The one from Loop Models in the Czech?

I just ordered a front bumper setup and interior dash kit from them today. Can't wait.
Bumper

Dash kit with steering column/wheel and I got them to include two more door panels for the passenger doors.

I had bought two steel bumpers but I dont like them. I will use the Loops front setup and RC4WD just released a rear JK tire carrier bumper I am looking at.

I also have MIP CVD's I need to install up front too.

Rough install. Will extend bumper to fender with more steel. How do I "like" my own post?

I was going to make one but after hours of searching around and buying another one I didnt like, I was able to figure out this one was perfect.
I plan on cutting the rest of the body to the fender and making steel extensions to said fender flare area.
Lika so.
