So every year our club does a build off. This year we are doing class one.
We start the build off process again.
I wanted to do the BADGER over again.
Has started with and epic list of parts.
Going for a class one and 2 rig with 60+ scale points. Gonna be hard but I am up for the challenge.
Here are some pics what I have done so far.

A package from rpp showed up today. We got some new shoes.

So got a lot done today , I got all the body mounts machined today. Also machined out a battery plate then went crazy with the Dimple Dies. Finished my sliders. waiting on a Package From Holmes Hobbies then we can get this thing Running. Checked out my points today should Score 62 Points easy. let me know what you guys think. Does any thing look out of place or not in spec ?

I took the body up to Dave to get the interior painted he did an amazing job. Also made me a bad A$$ scale part for the rig.

I got a lot done today. I got the rear sway bar fingered out. Also redesigned my rear body mount so I could seal all my electronics in. Inside the box is 2 tekin fxrs yes two. One for drive and one for the winch. A bec and reciever. It was all done on my cnc. I added a cool diamond texture to the top and bottom. Also got it all wired up. Its alive. Now to start on all the little details. Let me know what you guys think.

Looks great love the elec box and the sliders. what did you use for the servo mount and the panhard bar (correct term?)

Seriously amazing fab going on in this build! The only thing that I would worry about is the panhard mount on the frame. But if you feel it is solid I'm sure it is! Plastic suspension parts scare me a bit. Lol. . Great build so far. I want one of your electronic boxes.

Thanks for the compliments. I think I am going to re-cut that mount out of aluminium but the poly is better for testing. pm me about a box.

Thanks there are some touches that I need to take it apart to show off. The doors are held shut with magnets. It was just a glimmer in my eye at that time. Its been a very fun build.

Thanks the battery tray turned out great but I am going to re do it so that it fits my battery's better.

My new toy showed up to day. Gonna start making some scale parts.

Got some more done today. got most of the lights on and wired. They turn on and off with the main shifter in the console. I used a micro switch and fabed a handle for it. I also got some magnets put inside the front seats and inside the door panels. This holds the doors shut very well. Also allows them to still open.
Also got the front axle all done. It has brass beef toobs that I made on my lathe. also cut down the shafts and got them all welded back together. let me know that you think.

So got more done this weekend. Wanted to get some more lights on the rig and do a custom grill. The 3d printer is alot of fun and easy to make these custom parts.

Here is what I came up with. First pic is a head that I printed for fun. Still need to add the light bar in the grill but will do that later.
