Limiting factor for this build is the body. I sunk the frame as far up into the body as possible to eliminate the motor and 3 link interference I had on my class 2 jeep.

Do you by any chance know the length of the links? I can mock it up and find them, but it would save some time if you know and didn't mind sharing. Thanks!

I can measure tonight, I learned something yesterday... You can't use goo gone on the bodies for sticker removal. It will eat your body. I may be painting this one or using another one of my bodies on this rig. Really pissed at myself for not testing it on another body. I have always used zippo lighter fluid but ran out.

I tried soaking the stickers on this body and it made an absolute mess. Tried all kinds of remedies and none worked well. I eventually got them off (took hours), but I had to paint it afterward. |

Get a plastic tub and fill it with dot3 brake fluid. Let the body soak in it, but check it every 2 hours. The stickers will slide right off. do not let it set over night. It makes the plastic brittle. |

I hate brake fluid on my real jeep projects so I avoid it at all costs on the rcs. Zippo lighter fluid literally lets you just spray it on let it soak and just wipe off. I just finished cleaning off this boddies stickers with just rubbing alcohol, took about an hour for all the stickers. The goof off left a few places a little ruff, not sure what my plan is for those areas yet. Been thinking about going flat black on this one loping the "bad" edition new brights. |

No problem, finished wet sanding the TJ tonight. We have a comp this Saturday, not sure what I'm going to do about paint before then. |

Looking good Brooks! I used Zippo fluid on my body and it worked great. Looking like I may make it to the comp for the night run. |

Had it out this weekend at the west fork ranger station comp in nc. Jeep did great. I was able to run the whole c2/3 course with it. Did crack both front fenders so a new body she'll is in the works. Going to keep this one for practice
