Thanks! As far as updates i've done a little more work but this one has been on the back burner because of the new Rc4wd Blazer body. Luckily I have a TF2 roller so mocking it up was a breeze. I've got both of these trucks ready for paint I was just waiting for better weather. Painting in the cold sucks. I'll post some pics today.

STRC is producing these SWB chassis again so I'm sure they will take care of you. I've only had to contact them a couple times but their customer service was great.

I like the SSD wheels but I'm a big fan of the g made steel wheels. They are heavy and the positive offset is amazing.

As far as color option go, have you decided yet? I think a cream/off white would look good on there. I have a buddy who has a 1:1 EB and his is a tan/cream color and it looks killer.

Default Re: 1.55 Bronco, swb chassis, SSD D60 axles - **UPDATED PICS**

I finally got back on this project and got the body painted. What do ya'll think about the color? I tried to do something a little different. I chopped up a Dingo interior and made it fit inside the Bronco body. It fits like a glove and I think it turned out great. I still need to add a steering wheel, driver and possibly paint it but I'll wait to see what it looks like with some detailing. Also i got the wheelbase perfect and added a pair of Rc4wd small scale Punisher drive shafts. I still have to apply the decals and paint the grill and fender flares but I'm undecided on what color be it white or black. I think I'll probably switch out the SSD D60's for a set of those new cast K44's. The pumpkin and axles tubes are much smaller on the k44's and I think they would look great on this little Ford. Next up are bumpers and sliders. Here are a few updated pics for now.

Good looking little bronco. Color is not for me but you did a good job painting it. I think the k44's will look better just like you said. I'm definately a fan of the scale look.

I bet it will look alot better once you get all the trim, light and logo stickers on it. Nice work so far.

It does. I'm just about finished with the decals. I went with a white grill, black fender flares and mirrors. Detailing the grill made a world of difference too. Even the greenish brown color looks like it belongs now. Although mine has too much brown but meh. I actually google a couple Broncos painted that color and though it would be different from the blue, black or silver ones you see all the time. I'll post some pics up later tonight

Updated pics as promised. Now just need to paint the flares and apply a few misc vendor decals.

I went ahead and ordered a set of the cast K44's from Rc4wd. In do so I noticed something a little weird. The pumpkins are opposite each other on the machined vs the cast version of the k44's. I wonder why?

The new cast K44's arrived today. I'm going to do a good review and write up on them in the next couple days. I will say I'm impressed with them already. Here's a sneak peak.

Tamiya lexan is just so purdy...

I'm not a huge Ford fan nor am I a hard body fan, but this body is something that needs a hard version! Listen up vendors!
