| Clod SCX10 scale build
This will most likely be a slower build...but who knows. starting with some left over parts from my deadbolt that I turned into a wraith. I picked up a set of SSD D60 axles, got them all put together and installed with stock deadbolt links for now. I had already planned on making my own links for the clod body wheelbase, I also picked up a CMS plate from Vanquish and will need to make a panhard bar as well. Then I picked up some 1.55 Pitbull Growlers and some RC4WD black steelies. As of right now I just have some stock shocks on so I can get a feel for the size of this rig. I am leaning towards King Coilovers, but have not made up my mind yet. Next step will be links and finding a way to mount the body. Last edited by DemonsGT; 10-30-2015 at 01:17 PM. |

Yeah, after all the reviews on them I just had to pick up a set and try them out. i also ordered a sheet of styrene to plug some holes in the body...guess we will see how that goes. Last edited by DemonsGT; 10-29-2015 at 10:10 PM. |

Got my wheelbase where I want it. Used the all thread method for mock up but I will use the lathe at work to make the actual links for the truck. |

Looks good. Nice and scale. For the links, you could always sleeve the all-thread with brakeline since you already have the lengths. |

I would rather have one piece links, just personal preference...plus the only all thread I had laying around was 6/32 so it was too small for my revo rod ends HAHA! | |

Got the rear links finished today along with the panhard bar. I went ahead and ordered some 90mm kings, after I get those installed I will come up with a plan to mount the body. |

I mounted it using some super epoxy and 8 magnets. Holds the cab on really nicely. |
