Yes I've come to realize that I don't meet class 1 spec anymore and love the look too much lol

Class 1 rules are tight. I'm just building what I like and if it fits in a class I can be competitive in that's great otherwise it was fun either way

My tcase came in tonight so I was able to mount it to the scx10 skid and get my links on so now it's a roller! I still have some spring mounting issues for the rear (I made my first set wrong) and planning on running the gcm 3 Link kit with their pan hard bar setup

Would u mind posting a few more pics of how u mounted the t-case as I am using the same t-case on the SCX skid and haven't figured out how to mount it. Thanks

I took a Dremel, and removed all the ribs on the inside and the 4 holes that originally mount the Trans Dremel that completely down flat so the tcase lays flat, the. Measure how far apart the mounting holes in the tf2 case are (I used dial calipers) then drill them out to 3mm. Really just sand all the ribs in the skit down and flat.

I was fighting pinion angles so I'm re mounting the front of the spring to help, lot os trial and error with this build and having to shim the axle as well.

Since I have posted progress in a bit thought I'd share the class 2 beater I just finished for the first Comp of the year that's coming up, and then I'll be back on the cj/yj jeep!

Finally back the the jeep, I had these trex 60 axles laying in a box for a few years and finally decided to use them on this build since getting scx10 axles to work was proving to be more of a pain. Next week I'll order new spring mounts for the front since I decided to do leafs front and rear

That rear driveshaft looks just like a real jeep as far as length. May have lo lower your transfer case

As much as I wish it sat lower, the short wheel base stuff was really messing with it so I needed as much length as possible without making it look stupid, but no more binding!

Been a minute since I've posted, got a little time to work on it again, I mounted the body pretty much permanently and kinda getting a feel for how I want the chop top to look I might have to move my thread to the class 2 forums now!

Got one of the doors chopped, along with the hard top to, and letting the glue sit all night before I start on the other door along with filling in the gaps on the top with styrene
