Did a little snow/ice crawling with the Scraith today. I have bumped up to 15/54 gearing and it's spot on for what I need. I may change it up a little bit eventually though. Here's the pics from today and another short video.   |

I found out that the transmission I bought still had plastic gears in it. When I blew that out the last time out I went with the Hot Racing lightweight ones. Then took it out and drove it some more at my grandparents house. Super cool small waterfall made from the run off of the field tiles surrounding the woods. I bought a ton of stuff from a guy and it included 1 SCX10, 2 sets of axles and a bunch of parts. One was a front axle with beef tubes, universals, aluminum c-hubs and knuckles so I swapped it in the front of the Scraith. I made sure to lubricate everything and made sure it was good to go. I may have driven the truck for 20 minutes and BOOM. The passenger side universal trashed itself.

A little update on this one. I bought it some SSD housings, VP VVDs, Gearhead Trail Readys and some PBIIs. Still doing awesome.
