So I kept looking at the, for a lack of better terms, the radiator support which RC4WD made pretty beefy, but had this giant round receiver for the opposing magnet that secures the hood. So, I trimmed the rounded area, added a smaller magnet and thought "what would Foose do"? So I covered the magnet with some aluminum flashing which will get painted body color later. Also added the RC4WD TF2 inner fender set, fits OK, a little short on the sides but they will work. Expanded the firewall as well.

Thanks, I did that kinda bass-ackwards as I cut the hood and had no idea the air cleaner assembly would work. I almost didn't, had to cut off a bit of the bottom of the engine.

Thanks Natedog!.....Blazer/Charger update: Spent the day in the paint booth, and starting on the long list of small details, I think the list is to long actually! Got the wiper motor, brake booster/master and heater box started. A few other parts are in the pipeline, but this is it for tonight!

I like the color combo, the metallic blue over silver looks good, and the thin detail over the fenderwells sets it off!

Details, too many details......Blazer/Charger has a few more accessories added tonight. I found a weird piece of "wavy" aluminum, had some stainless screen and thought about making a "Griffin" radiator. You can see what I wound up with, not perfect but will have to pass. Got the interior floor mocked up, realized the RC4WD upper radiator support doesn't have a lower section, or a partition so added one of those so the radiator could mount to something.

Thanks for the updates Joe. As usual your progress is looking great. You know, your attention to details is what makes your builds stand alone!!!!
Now if you could just drop by and help me with the rear box section of my Bulldog Bronco build. I should be home all day tomorrow.
Keep up the good work!!!
Ernie,

PS: My wife and I are going to do a little traveling this fall and will eventually wind up on the East Coast, maybe we could have a cup of coffee together. ( Month and half driving trip).

Thanks All!
Devoted some time to Ramcharger, trying to get the underhood items done before tackling the rest of the list! Made an Optima battery, coolant and washer tank.

Well. no more "Blazer/Charger", going forward I think it's been "Caitlyn'd"....or let's say transformed, now its a Ramcharger.....IMO of course. So I made a front bumper, close to the '93 style front. Finished the wiring harness for the heater motor, wiper motor, battery cables and spark plug wires. Added the coil and finally mounted the hood.

Amazing! I'm a Mopar muscle car guy but GM truck guy. You've made an amazing transformation on this truck. Your attention to detail is awesome and I love all the things you've done to this truck. Sad to see a blazer chopped up but you did it right and I love it!

Ramcharger got some privacy glass this week, not to happy with my vinyl moldings though. Tried, do to the change in the side glass height and the rear hatch, make my own rubber gasket/molding. Looks OK from 2 feet away, oh well, the tinted glass turned out acceptable though. Also added a rear step bumper and attached the lifts to the rear hatch. Added lighting and the rear taillight lenses.
