What are you going to do it with it when it's done? Doesn't really look to crawlerish

So some progress has been made and I haven't been the best at updating this build thread.

I got the pully kit and radiator and spark plug kit for the motor from rc4wd.

If you think changing park plugs in a 1:1 is different try doing it in 10th scale with cucumbers for fingers.

The radiator is amazingly detailed

I still have to remove the intake manifold and drill and tap it for the thermostat housing. Apparently the newer ones come pre threaded.

Also I got a steering servo installed

Now to install a bec and get a few bugs worked out. But I am happy with the amount of steering is have.

Me and a buddy go to the dunes quite a bit and something like this would be really fun out there!

I was contemplating a front bumper and searching my favorite resource (google) when I fount the coolest front bumper ever (in my opinion)

So I headed over to the rules thread and ask. Turns out if my split bumper is ridgid and wider than the windshield it's class1 legal. Whoo hoo!

So now tomorrow (or later today it's that late here) I'll be making my front bumper.
And hopefully incorporating some bucket lights.

Also I got the rear shocks squared away the plastic bushing for the Traxxas big bores likes to bind. I did a simple rod end shock cap mod and now it's smooth as butter and I have plenty of flexyness

It looks really weird to see such a wide tire flexing. And as I discovered in my shop while test driving it reacts really different also.

I haven't made the bumper just yet. I have all the things needed now though.

But I did get a little testing in with the body off. Holy cow this things a mountain goat.

As promised I finished the front bumper... although the split design didn't work I am very pleased with how this turned out.

I found these bucket lights at my local hobby shop
