Default class 1 Lambo crawler project

this is going to be an attempt to build an unusual class 1 rig. I bught the Lambo roller from PIMPNROCKS and am slowly building it up. I opened up the axles and found OD gears in front and stock gears in the rear.

I put in brass beef tubes, axial cvd axle shafts, axial adjustable C-Hubs, and High Clearance Knuckles. I also put in my first quickrun 1080 brushed ESC. I put in the wireless winch control as well.

I am still waiting on the servo winch from heyok, the powerHD water proof servo from value hobby, the HH TM 35t Expert motor from a member on here, and the flysky RX from a seller on ebay.

I put on a set of TF2 wheels and tires and then decided to order a set of pitbull growlers on 1.55 black wagon wheel steelies, so I am waiting on those from another member on here..

This will be an interesting build for me as I have some ideas about making the wheelbase slightly shorter without making the front overhang too much.

Also going to repair the lights on it as time allows... here are a few pics of it as it stands now..

Interesting build. Followed.

Even though I've been in the game for a while, I'm still a newb.

Pretty neat, but I'd only run one battery at a time. You don't need that much run time and it's extra weight.

in my area, I tend to run for a few hours straight then pack it up and go home. I usually only get half a day or so to run my rigs so I keep them all in the area of 4000 to 5000 mah total capacity. I dont like carrying extra batteries with me... the weight is a non issue as its low over the skid and helps keep the rig planted.

I shortened the wheelbase by 1/4 inch in the front. I will be converting it to a CMS soon as well... wish my other parts would show up!

I also had this thought about a monster truck Lamborghini!

It looks super redneck with steel wheels. But eh, who else would jack up a Lambo? It will probably do side hills better than any other C1.

ok, I pulled out the existing led lights since the fronts were broken and non working anyway. I replaced them with new 12v white leds in front and new red 12v leds in the rear for the tail lights and one for the engine compartment..right now its plugged into the rx until I make a pigtail adapter off the main ESC/Battery wires.

the 1.55 growlers and black wagon wheels arrived a couple days ago as well..

I got the winch line and hook from snapon boy today, perfect for my needs and I strung it up. I will reroute the line at a later date but for now the existing routing will work.
