Just read the entire build. I was already thinking of building a Jeep on a CFX chassis, but this one motivated me even more to build one Great build! |

Looks really good with the smaller tires. Do you have a link, or do you remember what driver figure that it?

Drove them just once. First impression - they’re a bit stiff comparing to others, need to cut foams or build a heavy rig to make them work well)

Yea thats the main thing I was wondering about too. Sounds like I'll buy some new foams just in case. Mines on the lighter side too. How much does your rig weigh about?

4+kg. Try stock foams first, I use closed wheels, no vent as it’s wet conditions most of the time.

Oh wow almost 9 pounds? That's a lot heavier than I would've thought.

Awesome little rig! Short wheel base rigs are a blast! As for the tires, try trimming down the inner side of the stock foams and let them break in some. The tires and foams will soften up and be great over time. This is what I did on mine. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk |

Thanks I'll try that. What's the purpose of the bevel? Just less material on the outside edges?

You can also cut the outer side of the foam so it looks like a gear. I’ll probably try this out today

Couple things, it mounted up way easier for starters and the extra material right there didnt push the tires so bad they buldged out and over filled the tire. Gives it a nice look around the bead area and lets the tire kind of relax. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk |

Oh that makes sense. I'll have to try that. Artem, let us know how that works for you. I'm just still concerned that if they're too much for your rig, they'll be way too stiff for my 4 1/2 pound max Barrage. If they're anything like the Growlers I have, they're gonna be pretty stiff. |
