1/16 Knock Off Cross HC4
 

I spotted this today and went ahead and ordered one. I've wanted a military type scale rig for a while now but didn't want to drop the coin for it. Saw this RC for $36USD and thought that the body is worth that much for me. Now to wait for it to arrive and get properly measured and then source some axles and a tranny.

My wife was in the room while I was showing this to my kids and telling them how cool it was. They asked if I was going to order it, but I explained that I'd already overshot my toy budget for the month (as usual) so it would have to wait. They were bummed because they both got mini crawlers last Christmas, and I thought Santa was bringing me a Proline Ambush, but that didn't pan out. My wife asked to see it, and she immediately ordered it from her phone! Khaki too. This will be our first leafer, hopefully it arrives before Christmas!

I love that my family shares an interest in RC's. I can see a motor upgrade in its future.

I broke down and got one too, the Little Rock beasts sold me.
My concern now is that it's going to be a mega-turd with a 130 motor driving it.
I'm thinking a larger gear motor might be in order

Damn. Mine says it's Backordered now. It didn't last night but does now.

I'm hoping I could find a donor like a Temper or something 1:18ish for axles and a a tranny.

$36? Well I might just have to get one. Build quality doesn't look terrible and the axles look solid! Also is that a chassis mounted servo?

It's big, 13.39" long ! I'd be tempted myself, just for the body set. Nice find."thumbsup"
