| 1.5 GCM Skeleton JK with extras
I finally got around to building a Skeleton chassis. I found a few cool parts on shapeways also. Below are the specs and few pics of my progress. Probably going to keep it yellow but the fenders will be comp cut and some matte black accents will painted. Maybe the hood or grill. Also got to remove the backseat. The cross bar on the cage is in the way. Chassis: GCM Skeleton Axles: K44 cast with helical gears Trans: Scx10 reversed for driver side drop. Drive shafts: 77-100mm trans to t-case & MIP shorts to axles Shocks: Old man emu 90 & 70mm Wheels: 1.55 Gearhead Dirty Dozen Tires: 1.55 PB Growlers w/ Dirty Richard med foams ESC: Castle SW3 Servo: Hitec HV Printed parts: GCM front and rear body mounts with battery holder for the 2dr JK body Knight Ind. Here are a few of the chassis.The GCM body and battery mounts are perfect for the 2dr JK body. The make mounting the body a breeze. |

Did some shock tuning and changed wheels and tires to 1.55 reversed Landies with Rock Beast. The stance looks better now IMO. Last edited by Killa-Cotton; 01-07-2018 at 11:48 AM. |

Here's a few update pics with the Smittybilt fenders. Still have to install the rears but you get the picture. Looks like I'm gonna need taller tires ans fender wells for sure. |

That's awesome. I'm torn between a Skeleton and CMAX chassis. I have the JK body sitting at home. Nice work! |
