So I made a backing plate to go behind the replaced pieces to give it strength. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk |

That body even in clear is very recognizable. Adding the flares back on looks great won't even tell the stretch after body work. |

I'll yard it out tomorrow night and grab some under hood shots! The axles that are currently under it and being replaced are old rc4wd tr44s, huge difference, no steering, limited upgrades. Going to go the route of narrow 10.2 axles more then likely. That new chassis fits under your body perfectly and the axles look awesome under that! Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk |

Does anyone know what material to use to make softer leaf springs? I did a search and I saw brass on a custom 6X6. I know I have read some threads about it I just can't seem to find anything when I am really looking for it.

Have you searched through the tf2 section? I know the leafs need to break in and will get softer. Also some have made bastard packs with rc4wd red leafs and standard soft leafs.

Not enough I guess. I did find some ideas when I googled it. i'll run it with these and see if it softens enough. But I know me, Ill have to mess with it to get as much flex as I can. | |

I'm on the road and stopped to see an old friend in NC. I brought a couple rigs so his son and I could play. I'm pretty sure by buddy is going to have to get one for his son now. We had a blast. I think he kept getting stuck just so he could use the winch. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk |

Back in town and ball games snowed out this week. We have about a foot now and still snowing. So I finished moving the wheel wells and adjusted the ride height. Put on some 1.55 steelies with growlers. The steelies won't be staying long. I have a set of slots that have been waiting on this rig. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk |

rc4wd just came out with "super soft" leafs. sold out on their site, but available elsewhere if you look around a bit. would be awesome if you could somehow adapt the GCM radius arm kit (ascender to bowhouse/GCM tm8 axles) to this! |
