would be awesome if you could somehow adapt the GCM radius arm kit (ascender to bowhouse/GCM tm8 axles) to this!
Super soft for the SWB?

RC4WD tough armour. I had to modify it to make it work.

Did you shorten the width? Or was it the mounting points its self? I've been looking at that bumper before to go with my Blackfoot base rig.

The length was not changed. I cut the mounting brackets off and fitted it to the mount that came with the chassis.

Love that bumper on there! Might have to pick one up for my mangler! Clean and classic look!

Anyone following... I'm in season for my daughter's softball and I got a TFL Bronco I'm working on when I get time. I will come back to this when I can.

Pulled this off the shelf today. Added shooter shackles, Z boxes and some 80mm shocks. I might try running the Street leaf spring class at Motorama with it.

I had to cut the floor below the console and passenger seats to accommodate my battery. I could have put it in the back under the bed but this will lower CG and move weight forward. I don't think you will be able to see it once the seats and drive are in. I also added inner fenders. I'm trying to decide how I want to mount the body. That's next.

I wondered if you were ever going to make it back in the saddle this winter. Looking good. Can you use some 1.55 wheels for that rig?

Ernie
I have a set of aluminum slots that I was planning on using. Problem is the black wagon wheels look pretty good. Thanks for the offer. I'm trying to get it ready for Motorama. I wired it today and realized I needed a winch controller. Because I am furloughed I ordered a $14 Yeah racing controller. We will see how it does. Not using a BEC at this point. I don't plan on this being hard core. I even inspired Rhett. He was tinkering on his most of the day. I plan on roughing the paint up a bit more and adding some rust for now. I might make it nicer after Motorama. We only had time to mess with our toys because it was 17 degrees today. Too cold to work on the mustang.

Check out these headlights. I stole the housing from a light bar. It fit perfect. There will be no plugs when I take off the body. I robbed a useless TV remote of it's battery contacts. The body will have a matching set.

Did some shakedown runs. The body and driver make this really top heavy. Adding the ZBoxes and shooter shackles made it sit higher than I wanted and contributed to the tippyness. It rolled way to easy. I had some lead sheet that was used to line shower pans in the old days. I cut strips the width of the wheel rings and installed them. Much better. This little truck may surprise some folks this weekend. I did snap the stock front axle in the usual spot. I upgraded to universals. I believe she is ready to compete. Body and paint will have to come later. I'm kind of digging the unfinished body look.
