Been doing work on Ole Heavy little by little. Painted and weathered the chassis, and Cummins diesel. Made some inner fenders. And been taking him out and enjoying him. Man I love this truck

Thanks man. I posted the mud pic on a 1:1 Facebook page. All the members thought it was real lol. The lady who runs the page actually offered to buy it. She had a big laugh when I told her it was a scale rc truck

Decided that the Cummins needed an exhaust.

That Cummins needs to breath so I added a snorkel to Ole Heavy. Had some snow the other day, so I decided to take him out for his first snow run

I bought the rear axle but never got the front. I'm still running the yota 2s cause I got a lot of spare parts for them if I break anything. Plus they actually look good under Ole Heavy lol

Been trying to figure out how to address mounting this heavy ass bumper. It was mounted to the front lip of the body but I knew in time that would eventually break. As always I had a unused part laying around, a 1/14 semi rear crossmember, and decided to cut it up to make bumper brackets. Now I don't have to worry about it breaking. Hopefully......

Also redid the splash guard around the inner fenders. The rubber inner tube was just TOO ugly for me. Seen a commercial for Flex Tape and decided to try it. Man this stuff is super sticky and it bond like a motha. I suggest trying it. Anyway the wheel wells turned out looking much better.
