Re: RC4WD trailfinder2 Blazer V8 I changed the fuel tank for one of alu in red from RC4WD: https://farm1.staticflickr.com/784/4...65d87d80_c.jpgSin título by alberto espinosa, en Flickr I have advanced the servo to be able to decorate the motor hole with the RC4WD pulleys and ornaments: https://farm1.staticflickr.com/789/4...5b264273_c.jpgSin título by alberto espinosa, en Flickr I have mounted the Yota2 of RC4WD with the ballistic diff covers of RC4WD, more elegant and with the direction behind the axle . I had thought of another system with forwarding but like that is enough. I have also removed the smaller leaf spring in front and back, I have mounted soft springs in rear shock that include them as OEM and in the front suspension I have left one of the shock absorbers on each side without a spring. It is softer and it twists easier, it has won a lot: https://farm1.staticflickr.com/816/3...82988ccf_c.jpgSin título by alberto espinosa, en Flickr https://farm1.staticflickr.com/789/3...48dc79a7_c.jpgSin título by alberto espinosa, en Flickr https://farm1.staticflickr.com/787/2...ae4f6e0e_c.jpg by alberto espinosa, en Flickr https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4781/...f8c45754_c.jpgSin título by alberto espinosa, en Flickr https://farm1.staticflickr.com/802/4...f3fc19d0_c.jpgSin título by alberto espinosa, en Flickr https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4774/...e1669dce_c.jpgSin título by alberto espinosa, en Flickr https://farm1.staticflickr.com/813/4...b10d5224_c.jpgSin título by alberto espinosa, en Flickr https://farm1.staticflickr.com/813/4...37fe9995_c.jpgSin título by alberto espinosa, en Flickr Another detail that I had kept at home, the RC4WD hub nuts Mikey Thomson: https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4779/...e4bf156d_c.jpgSin título by alberto espinosa, en Flickr |

Re: RC4WD trailfinder2 Blazer V8 Quote:
How did you work out the distributor problem? The product description said the radiator wouldn't work on a TF2 since the steering servo would be in the way. If so, is the servo pushing the body too far forward? |
Re: RC4WD trailfinder2 Blazer V8 Quote:
The problem with the distributor I have solved by cutting the body, as there is still a lot of detail under the bonnet and everything will be fine when finished, I will put more pictures Yes, the servo has to be placed more towards the front, and the radiator fits screwed to the crossbar of the servo "thumbsup" |
Re: RC4WD trailfinder2 Blazer V8 That is so clean and so scale! |
Re: RC4WD trailfinder2 Blazer V8 Good morning for saying something ..... Yesterday, after two years, and as I am adding in the thread, I continue with the Blazer putting it aimed. Yesterday I had to improve the body anchoring system, but I was surprised and of course for bad as expected with this brand .... First came the broken body, they sent a second body, but this second has one of the anchors to the body with the biggest hole due to which you can't use that hole. Conclusions on the rc4wd brand: poor quality of finishes, but very very bad. Half products come from China with the corresponding quality and without revision. In their day with the axes, they came without adjusting and nobody said anything, everyone broke, until after complaints and complaints they took out a set of adjustment washers. People have seen how their tires are worth nothing more than their tires or if they are not problems (something they like seems to be). Then with a Beast2 6x6, there were missing screws, past threads etc. Now with the Blazer, more than 900e of model to bring loose or missing screws, the broken body and then car finishes of € 150, the tranny comes dirty as if it was already used, the body with a larger hole of the account which denotes the capacity of the brand quality section .... are things that you do not expect from one of the first brands in the hobby market, anything injora brings better quality than things of this brand. Advice if you buy anything of this brand, check it millimeter by millimeter and you will avoid problems, although it is better not to have problems or garbage of products at home to avoid buying rc4wd cars, any other brand makes a thousand laps in quality and functioning. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...dece4acb_c.jpgEB5067E4-B417-474C-916D-CF1CA10108BF by alberto espinosa, en Flickr |
Re: RC4WD trailfinder2 Blazer V8 Well, year after year we are putting hours on the Blazer who is still a virgin ...... Finally, the front suspension is moved, with no spring in any place and I have changed the turrets sideways because if not, the shock absorbers did not work well. I have also disassembled the V8 again because when changing the ignition distributor the spark plug wires had to be changed too and for this we had to disassemble the manifolds. Once everything is in order, a retightening of screws that comes from a loose source, and also grease as God commands that they are very fair in grease, at least for my taste. Some workshop photos: Here everything is taken out: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...0f43502a_c.jpg89C90988-6E47-42D8-8417-CBBED0E11293 by alberto espinosa, en Flickr https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...aa819b54_c.jpgIMG_1075 by alberto espinosa, en Flickr Here you see that it is necessary to remove manifolds for the cables: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...58e44734_c.jpgE8729EBF-D924-45D8-9318-E801DE01D43D by alberto espinosa, en Flickr Here we can see where the shock absorber should coincide so that it works as it should and where the turrets are as standard: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...9d33c1cf_c.jpg572EDE5B-1A46-452B-AF8D-09FADE007376 by alberto espinosa, en Flickr So when you turn around, they look like this and work like a vice: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...ddfae61b_c.jpgBDA34D56-559B-4D78-A87B-437EB37E089C by alberto espinosa, en Flickr A photo of the R4 broken down jjejejejje: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...4f05e0d3_c.jpgIMG_1132 by alberto espinosa, en Flickr I have to add that the front suspension did not move at all unless you took the car with one hand and the axle with the other, with the car's own weight it did not move even a millimeter, now it has about 2-3cm of travel, less than the shock absorbers allow, or higher turrets are placed or 25% of the shock absorber travel is lost |
Re: RC4WD trailfinder2 Blazer V8 Things are still coming, and more that will come, after a fight via mail with the RC4WD after-sales service, in the end they make me an account on their website for future orders in their online store, just as I said The bad, I say the good, excellent after-sales service the truth, at the moment, with more fight or less, every problem has done something to solve it, so I can be happy that almost 2 years later, they have had a commercial attention and it is Very much appreciated. Some gummies that will be for another but they arrived: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...02d5a4a6_c.jpgIMG_1223 by alberto espinosa, en Flickr And the rear leaf brackets, to prevent it from snagging: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...874aab05_c.jpgIMG_1266 by alberto espinosa, en Flickr https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...561c20dc_c.jpgIMG_1274 by alberto espinosa, en Flickr |
Re: RC4WD trailfinder2 Blazer V8 More work, I changed the electronics, a servo from 38kg to 6v with the hobbywing 1080 ESC. Motor I have left the same to see that. I have put more elegant covers to the cables in the part that is seen under the hood. With this configuration everything has entered the aluminum tank and I have been able to remove the tray from the middle. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...ac8da614_c.jpg1 by alberto espinosa, en Flickr https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...945b155f_c.jpg2 by alberto espinosa, en Flickr https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...7133770e_c.jpg3 by alberto espinosa, en Flickr https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...834a19c5_c.jpg4 by alberto espinosa, en Flickr |

Re: RC4WD trailfinder2 Blazer V8 2 of the emblems that I requested for the vanquish, I have put them on the Blazer, I did not want to load the Vanquish anymore and being chrome metallic, the Blazer is also very good. Although I know how deformed, it is because of the brightness of the chrome, but these anagrams are beautiful, there are for more models: Club 5 Racing https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...73606c77_c.jpgSin título by alberto espinosa, en Flickr |
