Looks great Tim, always love your tube work! However, the bumper doesn't look as wide as the windshield, I know the tube work is but wouldn't that be considered a grill guard and not really a bumper or am I missing something?

That’s some of that “gray area”. Rules say the bumper must be as wide as the windshield. Nothing says the side tubes aren’t part of the bumper. I mean, what if I made the entire bumper out of 3/16” tube? I just want it to look good without raising any eyebrows.

Ah, got it. I wasn't sure what all is considered bumper. It just says bumper needs to be full width. I took it as it's stated, guess I don't think out of the box enough.

Haven’t had time to post up progress since I’m trying to get it finished by the 15th. Some pics:

OK, being that I winched Tim out with my Camel Trophy during the first USTE, I am calling DIBS on this rig! Great job Tim! A true work of art!

Damn Tim, that came out awesome! Your styrene skills match your metal fab skills. That plus driving skills equals the trifecta of scale crawler skills.

Thanks Dean, that means a lot coming from you! We’ll see how she does on Friday.

It’s done! Ran out of time to do a few things I wanted to do, but I’m pretty happy with it.

Killer!

Any ideas why the Berserkers were difficult to mount? Did the bead get changed on these tires?

Good luck man, wish I could have made it to happen this year. Hopefully, there will be more info for next year posted here on RCC. We need some video and an in depth review of those tires when you get back.

The bead does measure a bit thicker than past Pitbull tires. Not sure what's up with that, but I got them on.

From what I saw in the 25-30 minutes I drove them around the rocks in my yard, they have exceptional traction. I seriously drove up pretty much anything I can do with my Class 2 with 1.9 XOR's. I have high expectations for them in Tennessee.

I'll hopefully see you at Axialfest Dean....I plan to bring this.

I gotta try some styrene work sometime even if it's just some scale accessories. Builds like this inspire me, but I'm lazy.

Awesome truck though!

I can send you a cattle prod, all you have to do is poke yourself when you get lazy.
