Default Rc4wd goodyear wrangler mt/r

Hello,

I'm planning to buy this tires for my rig, CMX with Tamiya Wrangler body.

Is a good tire?

Or is there a better choice with same 90mm OD?

Thanks!

I put 1.55 MT/R tires on my CMX. I don't have too much run time, but they feel great and the performance in my backyard testing has been great. I'm happy with them. The only thing I dislike is that the tires aren't symmetrical so the passenger side tire doesn't match the driver's side and it looks like it's going in the wrong direction. On an RC it doesn't matter much, but it would be interesting to drive the 1:1 tires on the street. I'm sure there's some kind of pull and uneven wear.

Here they are installed on LockedUp RC Trail Ready beadlock wheels on my MST CMX.

In the second photo, if you look closely, you can see how the tires don't match from left to right.

Have you got pics of both sides to see the difference?

Absolutely fantastic tire. I have the 1.7's and I filled them with 1.5 CI dual stage foams. They look the part and flat out work.....

1:1 MTR/Ks drive just fine on the street. They are designed to be asymmetric. Yes it seems like it would cause issues and it does look funny, but no the GY people did their homework. I've spent a decent amount of time in my friends JK running 37s.

For a tiny tire, they are pretty good! No complaints here.

Not sure if this pic helps any but these are 1:1 on my JK. I've been running them for about 2 years now and they don't pull in the least and they don't wear unevenly... not at all.

My buddy has the 1.9 MTR's on his TRX4 and I'm very impressed by them. He's running whatever foams came with them which I think are a little soft for trailing but they have great sidewall flex and seem to grip rocks quite well. I wouldn't let the asymmetrical pattern deter you from buying.
