Yeah its a really tight need setup I didn't want any extra electronics visible inside the cabin!

Only thing I can think of now is changing the esc cables for the motor to orange so they look like "HV" cables and doing some similar treatment to the rest of the wiring or making tiny cable combs to tighten it all up an make it look like a EV conversion.

And thinking about adding more detail to my dash model... wondering if I can have hallows inside the dash for the ac ducts and making the front bezel for the gauge cluster a 2mm thick part with a slight hallow in the dash for decals and plastic to simulate glass...

Still wish I could find a smaller thorough light system. I have a GT power light system an its bigger than my ecs an receiver combined.. but it does have every light you can think of including extras for a old school light bar

New dash been printed out and I feel like it'll look really nice once cleaned up an painted. Just have to remember to put some blue tap in the vent holes so they keep that plastic finish inside. OH! and the gauge bezel came out nice just having some under extrusion with my printer with this one part for whatever reason so mr hobby putty to the rescuse.

Thinking about print out some things to either replace the top of the servo or cover it to make it look like partially a radiator/shroud with a coolant res off the side. Not gonna make a fake engine to go over the esc an motor but I can try to make it look like a ev conversion!.

Thanks! Sorry about the slow updates I've been busy fixing my 1:1 samurai.. Had to put a new engine in it and my new throwout bearing just gave up after 200miles.

Took a poor photo of the under hood details I plan on adding.
Battery/battery tray/battery terminal and clamps
Master cylinder/brake booster/brake fluid res.
Air box and air pipe (might change up the tubing as it's to be something thing like a filter for a brushed ev system or something)

battery progress! its loosely a little smaller then a 51 series optima though I didn't have any red abs so light green it is!. It also has separate battery posts using the raw filament and then tiny little battery clams with holes in the clamps for some wire for the 12V leads.


Realizing though I'm gonna need to get more insane with cable management on my underhood stuff though o.o

Adding the picture of the teeny tiny master cylinder/brake booster assembly and yes that reservoir is hollow and thats the cap at the bottom of the picture!

Nothing to fancy on this update just cutting down some sunglasses microfiber cloth to fit as "carpet" in the little samura. was a pain in the @#!% to superglue an then quickly press an stretch it in. Its not perfect but its about what I'd expect from a 30+ year old 4x4.



I need to get a fresh hobby knife to clean up the edges a bit more so it looks a heck of a lot nicer and well clean up the dash more but its coming along!

Well went around hole in rock at the papigos and had some fun! Did manage to knock my grill out somewhere and crack my panhard mount on the axle.

Thanks man! so I managed to repair the damaged panhard mount with one from a botched printed axle I had in my failed print bin so got that issue fixed. Noticed my knuckles had some play so I replaced the bits of teflon tubing that add like kingpin bearings and got that stiffened up to as well.

OH! I printed out a new gearbox that I'll have to take apart an share some photos of but its a little faster at 7.5-1 from input ot output an uses a slightly larger printed spur gear. Also it gives me another 2mm of ground clearance which may to sound like a lot but every bit helps with how small an low this is!. It also uses all the ecx transmisison gears with the addition of just one losi/ecx smash idler gear to make it all work an allow the truck to actually freewheel steadily down hill.

Just a idea of how the new transmission looks here it is in tinkercad. Really like how I can actually freewheel down obstacles instead of it acting like it has a ecs brake an flips over!



Also doing a little experimenting with the grill to use normal axial light buckets

Interesting transmission.
So you will be able to freewheel and use a drag brake?

Ya know you now have to put a hood scoop on your 1:1 to match you Lil one now.

yup! I can actually now hook that extra wire to the receiver to flip the drag brake on now with the new transmission.
Also I designed the transmission with a similar layout to rc4wd unit but course with a built in transfercase... if I was using a bigger rig it be divorced.

And trust me... I really have been looking into that hood scoop for the sj410s...

Love the Lil Zuk and 1:1.

I have a Lil Zuk But it is the bigger Less Crawler Version. the Suzuki SideKick.

Found the body and that got me back into the hobby of R/Cs..


Now I have a few extra bodies to get it closer to my 1:1..
