Default Samurage? Samurage!

2 years ago, for my sons 9th birthday, he wanted a scale rc of his own.
He got a barrage v1 (v2 wasnt out just yet) and it was quickly tweaked with some hillbillyrc inspired mods, to include trimmed shock stops, trimmed rear driveshaft, smoothed pumpkins, flipped battery tray bracket, and a full sized servo.
Oh and I sprayed it camo green with plastidip so it didnt look like every other barrage at the time.
Also donated some gearhead 1.55 wheels and pitbull tires.

I think he likes?

We brought it with us last year to PROLINE by the fire.
It was keeping up with high end rigs no problem!

Fast forward to now...
Andrew has a full sized ascender now, donated by our very own CODYBOY. we have been working on it, finishing up on the rc4wd blazer body I cut to make it a truck cab truggy style build.

So what of the barrage?
Its now a spare, or loaner. And its in desprate need of some love/overhaul.
Enter... THE SAMURAGE!

Cool. If you build this anything like your other rigs, this should be awesome.

Nice... I thought we'd see quite a few of these Sumo body builds, but so far not too many. Looks perfect on there.

Thank you, gents.
Plans for this are pretty mild.
Going to try something for paint similar to the new wraith how its silver inside, color outside. So when I hit stuff it will show rash.
Color TBD...
details Will be minimum as it will be sorta intended to get beat up. Maybe an RC Nerds grill but not going to order everything he makes.

Oh and it will sit lower too as I will be eliminating body posts in favor of dual lock Velcro.
Might leave rear lexan bumper but front will be cut off and eventually upgraded to... Something?

Sweet, thats a perfect chassis for that body.

So is the emphasis on "Rage" or ba- "rrage" (Raj) ?

Now get that nose back to the grindstone
