Default LC70 Landruiser build

It's quite obvious now that I've become addicted to theese miniature crawlers and I just HAD to add one of theese into my cruiser collection It's now a rolling chassi already and finally I can get on with the body and all the goodies I've ordered for it

Metal locks for tailgate

Rubber "Leather" seats

Led kit

Opening doors and rolling windows

And of course there will be full interior and dashboard lightning!
Motor is just a normal RC4WD 35t with waterproof ESC and savox servos

Nice cache of parts. What else is planned for this? Maybe I'll get off my ace and build mine. Looking forward to your build.

Soo.. I was gonna heat the parts that I painted just for a FEW minutes to speed up the curing process a little bit but as I sat down scrolling trough the internet I completly forgot about it and left them in the oven for quite a looong time...this was the result, in other words disaster Nothing much else to do other than order a new body

Got the new parts painted and now mounted, not finished but it's going forward atleast the bed will be coated with wrinkle paint to give it a look of plastic bed cover. Only thing that bugs me now is I don't really know what to do with the shift servo as it couldn't fit under the body and is now mounted under the frame which is not really a ideal place to be

Nice build, I'm also just finishing up a Killer Body LC70 but haven't decided yet which chassis to go with. If it were me, I'd just lock the transmission in whatever gear suited the speed I want from the rig and go with that.

Could you mount the servo in the bed and disguise it as a tool box?

Thanks! All I can say is that I wouldn't go with the TF2 chassis which I have.. It's super scale but oh god for how much it costs it was not worth it since I had to adjust many parts by filing/sanding/bending and shimming to even make it work.. I would go for the BRX if I'd do it again. Yea I might lock it in place or make a manual shift lever underneath if I would want to run it in second gear.

Nope, I was thinking of that at first but too much stuff in the way for the linkage to fit

Yeah, I've read about fitment and durability issues, w/ the TF2 chassi, a pity really, cause as you say, it has great scale looks. I was thinking of using the G-Made GS02 chassis kit to avoid having to cut up the bed as it has two options for lay-down shocks Gmade 1/10 GS02 TA PRO chassis kit - GMADE

Yep, such a pity they didn't make them better... Oh yea that chassi looks like it has tons of adjustment too to make it fit for the body!
