Haha thanks man [emoji1303] |
Re: JSScale Rangerover I'd almost swear I've seen this truck on an episode of Top gear! Most excellent work. The duct tape holding the interior together really tops it off. What sort of magic allows the front driveshaft to clear the exhaust? |
Re: JSScale Rangerover That hood looks like it was found in Truk Lagoon lol. Fantastic scale build. Also curious about front driveshaft, was thinking it was bluetooth version haha. |
Re: JSScale Rangerover This is awesome! Im always amazed when I see a rig this scale. Just out of curiosity, how in the world did you do the burger wrappers? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
Re: JSScale Rangerover Simply Outstanding!! There're so many details to admire, but I love the coil spring busting out of the driver's seat!! Hats off to you sir! |
Re: JSScale Rangerover Great job! If you haven't already, you should post this over on Scale Builders Guild. |

Re: JSScale Rangerover Wow, that is really very impressive. Love it. |
Re: JSScale Rangerover Almost missed this one - once again an epic built! The pics look like you even made it smell like the real thing: I can almost smell that rusty, muddy, moldy air inside it! |
Re: JSScale Rangerover The mix and match panels really give it that feeling like three or four other Rovers were pillaged for parts to keep the good one going. Is there meaning to your liscence plate number/letter choice? How did you manage to pull off the defroster grid in the rear window? |
Re: JSScale Rangerover This is fantastic! Excellent work and great attention to detail, kudos! "thumbsup" |
Re: JSScale Rangerover Quote:
No real meaning to the plate other than while hunting through the internet for rusty reference photos there was a barn find 1972 Rangerover restoration. I make the plates myself so I did a few for it and thought this one looked right. Rear screen made by masking and then lightly sanding where the element is. Remove mask and use a Tamiya rust wash. |
Re: JSScale Rangerover The details are out of this world! The more I stare at the pics the more scale awesomeness I see![emoji2956] Great job on the build![emoji122] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Thanks man! |
Re: JSScale Rangerover Very very impressive. Great job. |
Re: JSScale Rangerover I love the smell of old cars, that burnt oil smell during operation and after shutdown. This build reminds me of that feeling! Great job on the detail. |
