Incredibly cool van body.

As top heavy as that's gonna be though, I think I'd go for the street ride and keep it low to the ground.
It surprised me with the angles it can do. Yea it's not as good as if it had a lexan body but it's definately not as bad as you'd expect.

Excellent looking van body. Stoked for the build. What is your wheelbase?

313. It's basically an scx10 ii clone

I am currently looking for this body style for an SCX10 I just picked up.

Few questions:

Have you run it yet? How's the durability?

Do anything for windows yet?

Finally, the big question, any plans on printing another and selling? (Feel free to PM.)

In any case, love it. Good job!

Sorry bud I didn't print the actual body, I just did the extras. The stl for printing the van is free on thingiverse. I got it as a kit and skied it all together then reinforced the joints with a 3D pen which actually worked a treat. I've ran it a few times and it's been fine. Not as top heavy as I expected. Rolled a couple of times on some tough climbs but has held together. I will be vac forming the windows but haven't made the mould yet. As usual other projects are taking my time up.

Nice looking van!

I've seen other 3D printed kits. How well do they hold up?
These trucks take a ton of abuse. I've had my TRX4 Defender roll down 10+ feet over rocks and both it and my TRX4 Sport have taken 3 - 4 foot falls.

Can a 3D printed body handle that?

Looks awesome. Can we get pics of the chassis without the body? And more details on the van besides the body?

Cool van. but if I was building it I would have branded it the A Team van not a kidnap van, but everyone has their own fantasies I guess.

It's rolled down a few banks, nothing too rocky and it's been fine. I only use it to knock about in the local woods. Don't think I'd want it to have any big falls.

It's just a Reely Freeman chassis with some scx10 ii mudguards and custom bumpers and sliders. Running a hobbywing 1080, can't remember what motor I put in it.

I've seen a few really cool hard body van builds... cant wait to see where this one goes!

What foams are you using in the scramblers by the way?? I have them too but cant figure out what foams would fill them out properly.

I've just been using the ones that came with them. Very soft but gives it loads of grip

I mean, the obvious choice would be the full body Mural
. If that doesn't ring your bell, you could do the whole spitfire motif with the sharks mouth and a Vargas Girl. But personally I vote mural.
