Default Fresh-ish Axial Fest 21’ build

Hi guys just wanted to show off what I’ve been building for axial fest this year
Pretty simple build
Vs410 chassis kit
Stealth X trans with Highest OD gears in it
Rockjock 60s
Reefs 444
1080/reedy 16t
Trailrunner wheels
Proline 1.55 swampers in predator compound
Take off trx4 shocks
And a marlin body to top it off

So far I’m really happy with the look, still needs paint and some finishing touches and tuning to get it perfect but I’m really excited for the finished product.

Thanks for looking!

That look awesome so far, are you planning to add more to the truck?

Yeah I’ve got some tube bumpers being made for it, and planning to do some sort of US Forest service or Game warden themed paint job. My brother can print out vinyl stickers so would do some badges on the doors.
Performance wise needs lighter spring rate and rear pinion angle is pretty severe.

Pretty simple build
Vs410 chassis kit = NOT AXIAL Chassis
Stealth X trans with Highest OD gears in it = Enduro transmission not AXIAL
Rockjock 60s = Non Axial AXIAL Axles
Reefs 444
1080/reedy 16t
Trailrunner wheels
Proline 1.55 swampers in predator compound
Take off trx4 shocks

Ok so I have to ask, what is Axial about this build? This is not an AXAIL Truck.

Per the axialfest rules the chassis was made for a scx10.2 so it’s legal, axles are axial style ring/pinion so they’re legal and stealth x tranny is technically a 3 gear style housing so that would be a grey area in my opinion.

Nice build I like it! However I'm pretty sure the rules are to run only Axial products? I think I heard it mentioned on Harleys Youtube channel.
