Default jeep rubicon unlimited

Well 2 projects at once just isnt enough!!
The plan is to start with the newbright wrangler then convert it to a unlimited.
Also going to make my own chassis hopefully it will come out pretty scale!
tires are going to be mudslinger courtesy of RC4WD
And I plan on runnin the true scale rims!!
and tranny duty will be handled be an R2!

After a little cutting

And a little more cutting!!!

Cut out some extensions,1 inch total ...

And now connected to the rear!!

Starting to fill it in a little now , More to come later!!!

I like the 2 door unlimited, though the 4 doors are pretty mint too. But I do dig the 2 door, kinda reminds me of the old scrambler. Hmmmm....I think I have a newbright body around here somewhere.

Gonna follow this one

Looks really good, now get rid of those stickers But you may want to keep the Rubicon stickers that are on the hood. Cut the blue off with a razor blade and put them on the side of the hood. What color are you thinking of painting the body?

rockbound, driver was from an Air Hogs motorcyle and is a perfect fit for most scale rigs, though you may have to cut off his leggies to fit. I had to for that Jeep. I did get him nice and drunk first so he wouldnt feel the pain

He is not camera shy either. Always looks right at the camera

I think Im going to go with green the same color as my 1:1. Full steel rollcage and a swing out rear carrier and poison spyder style body armor!! And yeah the stickers will be removed soon. Thats a cool rig you have as well man!!
