I got the scale details finished up in the bed and added some bed rails.

I got the rig finished up today and took a few pictures in the driveway before I took it crawling and scratched it up.

Then, I took it out for a crawl. I was really happy with the way it did.

I guess that's all for the build thread. Thanks for looking and let me know what you think.

Looking good... I don't think your spare is going to cut it out there on the trails though Better keep your fingers crossed I guess.

How did you mount your body?
I have a similar build right now and I used velcro to mount the body.
But I don't really like it. I was trying to come up with other ideas.
I thought about the bottom of the body has that flange on it?

I mounted the bed to the body and then put velcro across the bottom of the bed and frame. I also put velcro up front on top of the electronics. I like the velcro because everthing on the front fits so snugs its not going anywhere. I thought of other options too but didn't come up with anything. I will be interested to see what you figure out.

Hi Bud I wanted to say again if I have not yet before. that I love your SS Silverado with Drop bed.!!! you did a great job on it.

I was thinking of maybe doing a drop bed idea like you have done.

I am not sure yet though.,
It looks like a ton of work and they I would have to change the place I have my smoker and Speed control mounted.
well take a look at my silverado sometime and if you could give any pointers on making a drop bed for these trucks let me know. thanks again.

Brian

Build in progress.
