Not even ground down, just turned around to the flat side. The knobs are M1.5 and M2.5 socket-head screws.

I'm glad to see he isn''t drinking and driving (alcohol) out on the trail!

Very cool build!

I got the soda cans at Hobby Lobby, and they don't sell alcohol in their dollhouse department.

But the party animals in my Scout II and FJ40 are a couple of borderline alcoholics. You should see the back seat full of beer cans (wait a minute, I modeled that after my 1:1)

I love this rig MG! The classic Scout paint just puts it over the top.

Hey MG thats one trick Scout best one 800 I've seen to date with classic white with harvest gold accents. Stephan makes some really nice photo etched emblems.

Yeah and their great, you get the Scout script (2), the V8 emblem (2), the all wheel drive emblem (2) and a big HI (1) for the grill or hood. Best yet he gives you two full sets of all for around $25

There's a trick to using Dinky Links with the BB-51 chassis. In order to keep enough vertical separation, you need to throw some spacers under the DL's and use longer screws. Then the mounting plates look like crap so a little Dremel work is required to clean 'em up.

You can also see the 3-link I made for the front suspension in the first pic, and the Axial ball ends used on the drag link.

Thanks for finally getting the word out on the mod. I didn't want to post up my rig and have people think it was my idea.
