Default My Yota Makeover

I have had my Yota Hilux for a while now and have used it about 4 times, when i first did it i primmed it and was going to paint it but thought for a basher it would be ok left how it was with the primmer as it didnt look to bad . But I hated all the black chrome and was not very happy with the turn out of it...so i gave it a makeover.

Specs:
R2 tranny
Stock silver can motor
645Mg servo
1.9 stompers on stock wheels (de-chromed and painted black)
Soon to be FX-R ESC

Before,Primmer with black chrome parts

After,De-chromed and repainted and some detail to the body

Very nice! I'm glad you kept it, and didn't trade it or sell it..
Keep the pictures coming. I can't get enough of the red Hiluxes.
It looks very nice, any body off pictures? Do you recommend to switch the 3 Speed for an R2? One more thing, is the R2 slow with the stock motor?
Thanks.

EDIT: Wait, you are still selling it...

I actually just listed it for sale...the r2 is not to bad i have it geared high im running i think a 17-18t pinion so i have some pretty good wheel speed. I would for sure recommend it over the 3 speed but thats just me

Ya I realized you just posted it again. Hope you get what you want.
I was asking about the transmission because I just got a Hilux High Lift, and was curious, since the 3 Speed is rather big/heavy/bulky, etc, and the truck has poor ground clearence.

Moreover, what color did you use to paint it? Looks very nice.

Oh, that cut me deep Jaynen..real deep...

Besides, there is something called.........the "local" park, by which I mean my neighbor's garden area.

One day, whenever I go to California, I'll call you..so you can show me some "real" rocks...

Oh really? Well, here's where I drive my rig...

It is perfect except for the ocassional alligator dodging......
You may have rocks, but I have other things...like ehh....uhmm...Hurricanes!!! lol. And I have 1/10 scale rocks in my back yard...

Jk. I really want to go to California, and after that, I'm off to live in London.
By the way, sorry to hijack your thread 01XJ, but more pictures please?
