Picked up a couple replacement gear sets for my spare 645mg's. Got the gears swapped out in both servos, and the steering all installed. Added a servo mount for my winch. Made matching sway bars for the rear axle. Then modded a Hitec box for my electronics, and mounted it to the rear shock tower.

Can't wait to see the paint scheme, I agree, sway bars were pure genius, but I would expect nothing less from bender.

Looks sick B-Rad! I'll be home in an hour and I'll be wrenching again too!! I like the little "eye" for the winch "cable", I might need to borrow that one.

Thanks again for the compliments guys.

Got some more detail work done. Installed the fuel filler/cap. Made a mock aluminum radiator, which will also be my front body mount. Cut up an extra Grappler decal sheet an stuck it on the radiator for the dual fan look. Stole some mesh that jason scored out of an old air filter and made a grill to cover everything up. Added some HPI lights that are part of the Savage replacement bumpers to finish off the front end.

Still need to finish the body mounts, add some more scale details, mod the winch servo, paint the lower links flat black, install the rest of the electronics and take it for a shakedown run.

The spare is actually held in place by the small bungee cords that are wrapped around it.

Thanks again guys.
