Exclamation MSD "Ute Chassis" Prototype.........

Here's the start of my 1.9 build for the Montana Scale Nats in 8 days. Got the newest prototype chassis from Unimoger at Montana Scale Designs, with all the trimmings. This chassis is designed to be the most universal scale chassis to date, working with virtually any axle/tranny combo available. It's also set-up to run either leaf springs or a 4 link suspension set-up.

Projected stats:
MSD Ute Chassis
MSD 1.9 Rock Solid aluminum beadlocks
MSD aluminum axle C's
TLT axles
RCP aluminum knuckles and rear lockouts
Axial tranny
RC4WD 1.9 Rock Crushers
Hitec 645mg steering servo
Hitec 645mg winch servo
Stock 27t motor
Super Rooster (old school)

Here's a few pics right out of the box. The chassis, bumpers, shock towers, standoffs and wheels are all powder coated flat black. I just started assembly, and the fit and finish is awesome so far. I'm very impressed by the quality of the whole package.

Damn you guys are fast.

Keep an eye on the MSD forum for more info. Wheelbase will be about 12" on this build.

Guys,

watch for a ton of prototype builds of the new MSD " UTE " scale universal chassis, they should all be hitting the board very soon.

The chassis is available in 5 sizes of WB
10"
11"
12" - this prototype build
13.5" - for crew cabs
14.5" - for crew cabs

looking good so far Bender, you work fast

The package is sweet, pics don't do it justice.

The chassis' will be available for different wheelbases too, as Ben already posted.

Yeah, I probably should have got started a little sooner. But, I should have it running by then. It will probably lack some scale details at first though, because of the time crunch.

I have a clod cab stretched to crew cab, built by obijuan that fits 13.5" one,

then I had microgoat build me a f350 crew cab body and it is 14.5" wb,

both of those build threads will be up very soon.

This is one of the sickest scale chassis I have seen to date...

The bumpers finish off the sickness to make it even sicker...

Great job Ben on the design and you have my address Brad

Love,

BD
