Default my first scaler 1.9...

hey crawlers...

this is one of the AX10 kit that i bought 3 months ago... and been running it 2.2... then i tried out the crawler gtg for the first time with most 1.9s not too long ago... so then i decided to build my own 1.9 scaler but with less change as much as possible. this Ax10 1.9 here is 90% stock... only upgrade would be the wheels and tires.

here is the set up both Fj and hummer are the same

AX10 kit
wb 10.7"
2oz in the front wheels
1oz in the rear wheels
stock car wheels
1.9 crazy krawler tires
16/87 gears
stock battery set up
2 front lower links are 4.8"
2 rear lower links are 3.9"
front upper link is 3.5"
rear upper link is 3.2"
stock front shaft is now 4"
stock rear shaft is now 3.2"
stock shocks with inside 1/2" damper
80wt oil
savage x springs (i cut out about 8 coils)
55T integy
spektrum Dx3
LRP A.I runner/reverse waterproof esc
hitec 5645mg
FJ body from nikok
HUMMER body from KB toy

Default ...change always good... right!!!

well after couple gtg... i felt like we need some more edge to our current body... since hummer was original gray and FJ already have 1 make over to all white... its time for hummer to step up the game... the only i need now are those hummer wheel (8 lugs)... so hope every body like it... cause i do (place around santa fe dam)

You know what was really nice about the white FJ Cruiser was the fact that Toyota recently release a limited edition white bodied FJ Cruiser w/ all black trim including wheels...

Not that I do not like the yellow / black theme I do.!

P.S. Thanks for the info...

well the main reason of changing from white to yellow was that the paint i use not stick to the body good enough (not tamiya paint that is ) but i have an extra FJ body that might be done in white again or pearl white.

x-trail definitely been on my mind when i started the build but at the time i just want to see if AX10 stock chassis have the capability of going shorter for scale and still work with full articulation... i'm happy with the result have no problem on the rock... however, i think i might try to build my own chassis (if i can :-() so i can mount the shock straight up more scale.
