Default The Little Black Pajero that could....

Meh. Horrible Title... I meant to post this awhile ago, but Instead, I will post the before in this post, and what I've done this week in the next post. And, No, It doesn't rub. (And I'm going to finish the 4 link rear end this week)

(This is a Post from SoCalRCRC, where I originally Posted it.

Well, Mike made me do it (Not to mention I'm an impulsive buyer.)

Yeah, your basic CC-01 Pajero Wide Body. I stuck the Mud Slingers and Vintage stock car wheels on. I'm working on the rear end, converting it to links. I'm soon to get a different body, but this one is starting to grow on me (I'll add more scale stuff, roof rack, blanket, backpack, etc.) It has working front lights, a 645MG servo, and a CB Antenna (Not pictured :P ). Took off the tire cover, and redrilled the back to accept a tire... I'm working on a front end config to make it a bit more "capable" so it'll work as great as the rear does.... Action pictures tomorrow from my Backyard Crawling Course/Trail as I get them..

Heres how it sits with the Rear end work..

To Answer Your Qs:
1) The Snorkel is Plastic, and it came from JPscustomrc.com
2) I trimmed the corners/bottom of the flares a bit.
3) Roof Rack is custom, and was bought off of another forum.

Very nice! I have one question though; did you screw the roof rack on or what did you do? I have the same body and just bought a roof rack, so insight is welcomed.

Well maybe I have a 1:1 and it's nice to see something other than a Hilux. Sorry.

Looks nice...I'm going to have to try something like that for my rear suspension. Are you going to cut the front of the chassis to give a little more clearance when approaching an obstacle? this is what I did to mine...it helped a lot.
