Default High Strung Chevy Truggy

well its time to start on a new scaler for me. Some of you may have seen my old heavy chevy roasting the tires and submarining in the videos i've taken

i bought my girlfriend a Tamiya F-150 for her to completely put together and paint. well it turned out pretty good but she got aggrevated with it cause it wasnt waterproof and it was open diff front and rear.

So im gonna pass the heavy chevy onto her to continue to beat on all the other scalers in our club.LOL Watch out for Tiffany guys

New build.

picked up a Chevy SS body, X-Trail chassis, and TLT shocks off here to start with.

Planned Specs. include:
JRH 25t 540 Handwound motor
Sidewinder
Elite 4800 3s
CC BEC ? maybe
R2d reversed to the front for normal 2wd/4wd
Hot racing 1.9 Beadlocks
2.2 slingers Reduced
645 servo
Axial Axles
straight axles and Axial plastic adapters in the rear
Spektrum of course
WATERPROOFED
pede shafts and metal yokes

Inspiration for this build came from:
MTHead MTHead's Truggy (completed pics pg 7)
dezfan Rock Rescue/Recovery/ & Repair Vehicle
exesivefire 1.9 Silverado truggy..

Definitely some TOP Notch builds there. I applaud you guys.

The Bed is gonna be hacked off and all tube in the rear and No Doubt the front will be bobbed

Since all the parts are on order right now. all i have to work with is the body, chassis, and shocks

the elite 4800 3s is supposed to be the same size as a stick pack. So that works perfect!

Just wondering....Is that one of the Jesse James chevys? I've been thinking about doing one of these and was wondering the best place to get the body.

thanks eddie, i started trying to do that sewing thread cutting technique.... but that didnt really work, maybe my thread is too small cause it kept breaking

but i ended up using a small hacksaw, some medical scissors, and some 2" masking tape for a guide

its only tacked together with CA right now
