Default Jeep Wrangler build, Non EVIL Version

I started this one a while back after I finished the "EVILTWIN" YJ. Pretty much going to keep it stock except for rear suspension, motor, and tires/wheels. I probably wont even hack up the chassis at all even though these XC chassis often get caught up in the front. It is mostly done and just waiting for paint and some scale accessories. I will probably not hack this one up like the last one seen here. Jeep Wrangler build

But it will still be fun to wheel alongside the EVIL YJ. Anyway here are some pics and I should get around to painting sometime soon.

HAHA

The first one that I hacked I got the body at a decent price on ebay but it was a bit busted up so that is why I hacked it. But this one I have had for a loooong time and never built it. Definitely not hacking this one. Figuring out the paint scheme right now. But that is it. Just the two Jeep YJ's. But I do keep my eyes open for good deals on them on ebay. I am just dying to hack up another one! What a rush

A quick update and a teaser of first two coats of paint. Flat black and Tamiya Copper so far. Aluminum wheels and some more detailing to come...

Looks cool...

Have you thought about painting the top flat black as well?

Thanks, and the top is definitely not staying copper. Right now it will be flat black, but I may try something else. Still undecided...

OK so the Jeep is a runner though not sure if I will ever run her Dont want to scratch it up. Who am I kidding, Ill probably run her tomorrow! Anyway it is almost done, just need to add a few stickers and maybe a hi lift jack or something to add some detail. I also want to get some better rubber if I do end up using it as a runner. On to the pics of the mostly completed addition to the family.

I like the tan roof Are those the Bruiser builder wheels? They look good on there. If they are, is there any chance of getting me a couple of measurements off of them?

-Mike

LMAO just noticed your location

Thanks Mike

They are Bruiser Builder wheels and I just threw them on to see how they looked. I wasnt planning on using them for this build but I really think they look and fit perfect so they are staying. Let me know what you need as far as measurements go.

At first I was lost as to what you were asking but I dont think there is a difference. I just ordered it from hmmmmm maybe RPP Hobby or Tower or somewhere... Works just the same though. I have a 35 turn that is silver with the Integy sticker wrapped around and I have this 35 turn that is orange. This one I did get most recently so maybe Integy is just using colors now????
