Heya, I'm pondering the purchase of the x-trail rails to convert my AX10 to a scale rig, and I have a few questions regarding the process. Actually, has anyone seen any links to a set of general measurements for building your own rails? It's the kind of thing I'd like to get right the first time, y'know? (I've only got so much raw material hanging around. (tail panel for a Carrera GT!)) First, are the AX10 axles too wide for a 1.9 scaler? They do seem pretty wide to me, and I've not had the opportunity to compare them side by side with a scale rig. Second, has anyone seen any threads or tech articles covering the subject of relocating the steering servo upwards, for a more scale appearance? Finally, what would you consider to be a decent source of body shells for a scale truck. I looked at the Crawler Store, but only saw a few. I look at what people are using, and the Clod body seems popular, but they're a little harder to get these days. Is there a good source, with a variety of shells available? Thanks in advance, Jim

Here's my latest AX10 Xtrail build, its 1.9. My other one is 2.2 with the servo mounted on the frame. Bodies, only decent place for those I found, RPP. AS for details for links and things like that, you have to come up with that on your own. Heres the thread on my 1.9 build, all Axial AX10 drivline: First 1.9 Build

Cool, thanks for the links. I've got a lot of it figured out already (how to get the wheelbase I want, shock mounts, etc) but the whole full frame thing is going to be a little bit of a learning curve. Jim
