im a little disappointed that it was damaged coming out of the box, but its gonna be getting a roof rack and spair tire so its not that bad.

they even sent me a scale version of my radio. its amazing there isnt some sort of copyright infringement on this thing.

Here is where the third row seat was, I didnt like how it took up the whole rear section, so i removed it and cut the floor. I dont know if ive ever seen it done before, so im gonna make a subwoofer box. also the bottom will be cut out so i can hide radio equipment inside it.

Looks good so far. I did one with that same body a while back but I never took any pics. That copycat radio is funny. Now go make a scale crawler for your scale crawler's scale crawler...

painted the sub box and used my phone to take crappy pics. its not mounted down, so thats why it looks like its sitting at a funny angle.

The reason I opted for a fake speaker, is that I think im gonna put the receiver and controls for the lights in this box, and magnets and electronics dont mix.

Dude nice truck i did one on my own ass well check it out. If i were you i lower the body just about 1/2 inch or so, i tell you this becouse i did it to mine becouse it kept rolling at about 35 deegre angle and when you want to go uphill or go through obstacles it will tend to flip back. The body is the one that weigth alot up top causing these errors, but other than that great start.

You should probably add a amp rack to the side of the box to keep it more scale looking. This will also give you some more added space to hide things...

Thanks man, but that chassis is not the one the body is going on.
Its getting TLT axles, and a custom frame just for this body. Ill keep you updated,
The motor and tranny will be mounted under the hood, hooked to a transfer case under the body, It will look more scale and give more clearance.

WVB, The Amp is what im working on next.

Update again.

Box painted and added an amp I made out of an old CPU Heatsink, with wires and complete with power indicator light, at the same time I added a capasitor, made out of a capasitor, how Ironic.
