Default K2-3S Avalanche Build

Welp the Rubicon 2.2 is pretty much done besides sleeving the links and adding a winch, so I'm on to my next build.

I won this K2-3S chassis kit at the MSD Scale Nats and this body is the perfect candidate for it! I tore it off of a Radio Shack 2 speed truck awhile back and now i'm kicking myself for cutting the front bumper to pieces

Anyways, I'm not too sure on what kind of axles I'm gonna run but it will obviously have an FX-R, T55 motor, Spektrum, Tekin Li-Po and another of our proto servos. As for axles, the new Losi Mini Crawler is spot on for width (7") with the Mini Rock Claws, so I may go that route and use those drivelines also, as they have metal outdrives

Here's the start, I'm going to hide the electronics in the bed under the cover it had on it. I rough notched the body to fit the K2-3S in for fitment, looks like it's gonna be a perfect mate!

I'm gonna make the links myself with allthread, just like the Rubicon and sleeve them as well. I'm on the hunt for some axles, rims and tires now, I want to have it a roller in a week or so.

Roof Rack is already in the works!

Little Teaser of what she'll look like in a few weeks!

Bagged the Roof Rack idea, I want it to look just like the 2003 Ultimate Adventure Avalanche, as it's alread painted and stickered as so

Axles got here, TLTs and tires will for sure be 1.9 Crushers!
