Nice looking truck! Did you keep the springs in the dampers? Some people seem to have soft springs and others (like mine) are too stiff.

What's weird is that she picked the paint color. When I was 18 I had a '79 that was almost that exact color!

rufffyder, the shocks still have the springs in them and bind up a good bit. I still need to mess with them to get'm smooth.

Jason,
This isnt the best solution but I found it works for me...take the lower cap off the shock, youll notice there are 2 different size O-rings. One O-ring has a smaller ID...thats whats causing the bind. Remove it and the shocks will be butter smooth, however, they will also no longer hold any oil...

RC4WD says you can email them for an RA# and they have supposedly fixed the issue.

Truck looks good I am a big fan of that color. I have yet to see a body it doesnt look good on.

Jason, post more pics! It looks great!

I just built up a crawler for my son who's 6 and we're going to build a scaler next.

More pics please.... Even some off body ones. I think everyone likes seeing even a "budget" build.

Congrats Megan! I love your truck.

Nice pics. I really like Megans truck, looks like your old one for sure. Have to ask what rigs are in the back ground. I always look for new stuff hiding in your pictures.

NICE RIG, Love the color!

I found a quick fix for the RC4wd shocks, no more binding:

The problem o-ring to be exact is the lower one, first one you see when you pull the bottom cap off. Take that out and I replaced mine with the funky looking orings outta some traxxas shocks I had laying around. WORK BEAUTIFUL and hold oil just fine. Its how I have my F350 Super Duty Xtrail set up and i love it. I do have issues with the stupid o-ring on the cap staying in place and not leaking, lol.
