| I bought the AX-10 kit a few months ago and ran it as a crawler. Being that I don't have that many good spots to run a crawler, and a ton of great spots for a scaler, I converted my crawler into a scaler with the X-Trail chassis. X-Trail Chassis with the stock AX-10 parts. HiTech MG 645 servo 45 Turn Intergy motor Mamba Max ESC Elite 1500, 8 cell battery pack DuraTrax Evader shocks with soft springs. Rock Stompers tires on HPI stock car wheels Tamiya Ford F350 hard body Everything is waterproofed for playing in the water. Here's a little vid I put together. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzFpPl64-7k Warning gratuitous scaler pics ahead. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Here's a couple of pics from a trail run I did last week. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() From another thread. It was so wet out, the camera got fogged up some. I had to take the detour around the waterfalls. I got swallowed up. Here's a little vid of me trying to run across the ledge in the above pic. Man, is algae slippery. I landed upside down in about a foot of water. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=43hGhOKBOWg I can make it. Last edited by Stburr91; 07-05-2008 at 03:41 PM. |

Yes, it's waterproofed. Waterproofing a scaler is a must, it opens up so many places to run, and driving in the water is so much fun. Last edited by Stburr91; 07-09-2008 at 06:57 PM. | |
